About Us
Notice this Notice
We at Notice this Notice reimagine the Victorian sense of humour for the 21st Century audience. Performance culture in the 19th Century was vibrant and eclectic, and we find inspiration in the varied stage craft of the Victorians. Taking inspiration from Music Hall, Melodrama, Parody, Pantomime, Comic Opera and Variety acts, our theatre is a love letter to the wonderful world of Victorian theatre in a way that is simultaneously nostalgic and new. We don't just idolise, we question, reimagine, and rework to create shows that draw inspiration from the past to present something exciting, eccentric, and entertaining!

Alex Hargreaves went to the University of Leeds where he studied English Literature and Theatre Studies and went on to complete a Masters in Victorian Literature and Culture at the University of York. He has worked extensively as an actor-musician and composer. He is the main writer for Notice this Notice productions and when he gets off track he has Kathryn to act as his guide, editor and general guru. Kathryn trained in Acting, at East15 Acting School, and is the strict editing eye for all Notice this Notice scripts.
